Parent-teacher and parent-administration communication is vital to effectively operate our early childhood and educational programs successfully.  We are always available to you, parent or legal guardian, and we welcome suggestions that will make you and your child’s experience a positive one.

Tuition:
An annual and non-refundable registration fee of $50.00 covering insurance, administration costs, and supplies is
payable when a child enrolls.  Registration fees are due each twelve month period following the enrollment date.
Tuition is adjusted for the days public schools are out, at the rate of $7.00 extra per day. When the public schools
are out for holidays (3 days or more), the  tuition will be at the summer camp rate unless your
child is NOT HERE AT ALL

Child Development Center Director Sue  Balchin was the Assistant Director of Stough Child Development Center from January 2002 until June 2005 when she took over as the Interim SCDC Director.  In November 2005 Sue Balchin became the Director of the SCDC. 
She has a bachelor of Arts in Art Education
from Winthrop University.  Sue has been working with children since 1985.Sue is married and has three children.



Stough Child Development Center
currently has space available in the following classrooms:

  Infant -(6 weeks to 12 months)
Older  Afterschool - (2nd  - 6th grade)

          We transport children from Pineville Elementary and Indian Land Schools.
