         the week. 5:30 am - 6:30am-and 12:00 noon
  • 2 Women's Bible Studies Wednesday afternoons from 1:00pm -3:00pm and 6:30:pm-8:00pm
  • Life Change University on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm-8:00pm-(Childcare provided)
  • 3 Home group Bible Studies-Braswell's home, Watters home, and Whitten home
  • 20 Connection Group Bible Studies on Sunday mornings from 9:45-10:45...All ages

This study of David is a 7-week class written by Priscilla Shirer, Beth Moore, and Kay Arthur.  Each segment focuses on the life of David at a different stage of his life; as a young man, as a middle-age man, and as a man facing the final third of his life.  You will laugh with them, cry with them, and learn to love God through these three ladies.

Discovering the Power of Prayer  - for Women

This 4-week class will equip the student with basic answers to the questions of the nature of truth, proof of the existence of God, a defense for the possibility of miracles, and much more.  A special emphasis will then be given on how to apply this information to daily life to interact with others more effectively and defend the faith with confidence.

               Begins June 9, 2010



Apologetics 101 (Defending the Faith)

Living in the Family of Grace

This 8-week class will discuss how to grow deeper in experiencing and understanding God’s grace through exploring first, what we have in Jesus Christ, and     secondly, how to share it with others.  Discipleship will be the emphasis and the book of Romans will be the main study.  A workbook will be provided at the cost of $10 to the student.

Gone Astray and Cast Away - Must Faith Last?

    >Michael Stewart, Teacher

“Cast in the fire and burned.”  “Believed in vain.”  “Fallen from grace.”  “Erase his name from the book of life.”  These phrases are in your Bible and reference believers!  In this class we will look at and give Biblical answers to 15 difficult passages in the New Testament that SEEM to state that eternal life can be lost.  Bring your Bible and be prepared to dig deep and think!

Grief & Loss

    >Brenda Deese, Teacher

Loss of a loved one or dealing with a loved one who has gone through a terminal illness affects the entire family.  This class will encourage those affected by loss and give them practical tools to remain focused on Christ.  Follow up casual meetings may continue at the conclusion of this class.  This is a 6-week class.

Advanced Bible Study Methods

Do you desire to “dig deeper” in Scripture?  Are you ready to turn your personal Bible study into a thriving one?  This study will explore the simple, yet effective, three-step process of the inductive study methods of observation, interpretation, and application and is geared toward the student who is ready to grow.  A student book may be purchased in class.
