Taking the Next Step...
Our mission at Stough based on Matthew 28:18-20 is making disciples, who make disciples. A disciple is an imitator or follower. Our mission is to be an imitator or follower of Jesus Christ and then to point others to Jesus Christ as the source as well. Once an individual has believed in Jesus Christ for eternal life, the Next Step is to continue to walk with them and help them grow in their relationship with Christ.

The Next Step of discipleship will include:
A. Desire to know the Word and pass it on – Ezra 7:10 & 2 Timothy 2;2
B. Abides in Christ, looks like Christ, and bears fruit – John 15:1-8
C. Produces Fruit of the Spirit – Galatians 5:22-23
D. Will be a lifestyle
Ultimately in the Next Step believers will become a disciple and reproduce other disciples. At Stough, we believe disciples are focused on Christ, involved in various ways of spiritual growth, and seek create an environment of grace in their actions and attitudes.
